Ami Otsuka speaks at Beppu Bay Conference 2025 "AI Future Forum"

Author and app developer Ami Otsuka (representative of Hundreds LLC) spoke at the Beppu Bay Conference 2025 "AI Future Forum" over two days, December 11 and 12, 2025. The conference is organised by the Hypernetwork Beppu Bay Conference executive committee.

Day one ran from 13:30 to 17:15 and day two from 10:00 to 12:00. In-person admission was free, with 200 seats on a first-come basis. The committee includes Oita Prefecture, NTT West, NEC, Fujitsu Japan and the Hypernetwork Society Research Institute, with IPA and the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry as supporters.

Otsuka's theme was how AI is actually being used at work and in schools, and what that means for what people will need to learn.

Author and app developer; representative of Hundreds LLC. Starting in October 2023, while a student at Chuo University, she built an app a day with ChatGPT for 100 consecutive days and posted each one to X, a record published as #100 Days Challenge: I Built 100 Apps in 100 Days and My Life Changed (Nikkei BP, 2025). Named to Forbes JAPAN's Women In Tech 30 in 2026. She is now based in Thailand, writing, speaking and building apps.
