Ami Otsuka gives keynote at PyCon JP 2025 and launches memo app MemoLune on stage
Author and app developer Ami Otsuka (representative of Hundreds LLC) gave the Day 2 Keynote at PyCon JP 2025 on September 27, 2025, in the Phoenix Hall of the Hiroshima International Conference Center. The talk began at 17:00, ran 60 minutes and was simultaneously interpreted. Its title was "Racing toward the future of programming: what two years of trying showed me."
During the keynote she announced a new memo app, MemoLune, built over the 100 days leading up to PyCon JP 2025 and released on the App Store. On stage Otsuka said: "As of today I declare that I have gone from beginner engineer to independent developer."
PyCon JP 2025 ran from September 26 to 28 and drew 522 attendees.
