Ami Otsuka speaks at online event hosted by TECH PLAY
Author and app developer Ami Otsuka (representative of Hundreds LLC) spoke at an online event hosted by TECH PLAY on April 17, 2025. The title of the talk was "Go all out in order to slack off: how I make things in the age of AI, found through the 100 Days Challenge."
The event ran from 19:00 to 20:30, with a 60-minute talk followed by 20 minutes of questions. Admission was free. 703 people registered against a capacity of 720.
The title refers to how Otsuka worked during the 100 Days Challenge: the task she spent the most time on was working out how to write each day's code so that the next day's work would be smaller.

About Ami Otsuka
Author and app developer; representative of Hundreds LLC. Starting in October 2023, while a student at Chuo University, she built an app a day with ChatGPT for 100 consecutive days and posted each one to X, a record published as #100 Days Challenge: I Built 100 Apps in 100 Days and My Life Changed (Nikkei BP, 2025). Named to Forbes JAPAN's Women In Tech 30 in 2026. She is now based in Thailand, writing, speaking and building apps.
