ASCII.jp article describes Ami Otsuka's development method

On June 7, 2025 ASCII.jp published Satoshi Endo's article "Tim O'Reilly says AI will not take software developers' jobs." It includes an account of the working method of author and app developer Ami Otsuka (representative of Hundreds LLC).

The article states that, in the course of having an AI produce several competing improvements to the same code, Otsuka encountered readability, object orientation, a sense for how to split classes, and design patterns.

Otsuka did not study design first and then write code. She had an AI rewrite code repeatedly until she could tell good from bad.
