Shinchosha to publish Ami Otsuka's new book 全部、AIに丸投げした。 on October 21, 2026

The new book by author and app developer Ami Otsuka (representative of Hundreds LLC), 全部、AIに丸投げした。 気づいたら、24歳で海外ホテル暮らしの経営者になっていた (Zenbu, AI ni Marunage Shita), will be published by Shinchosha on October 21, 2026. Shinchosha announced it on PR TIMES on September 18, 2026. It is her first book from a trade publisher since #100 Days Challenge: I Built 100 Apps in 100 Days and My Life Changed (Nikkei BP, 2025).

The book covers the three years since Otsuka, whose university GPA was 0.9, started using generative AI because she did not want to do her coursework. With no prior experience she built an app every day for 100 days, founded a company in her first year of employment, and in 2025 placed third worldwide at Shipaton 2025, a hackathon run by RevenueCat in the United States. She has since moved to Bangkok.

The chapters are built around five rules that took shape along the way:

• Do not learn from the basics
• Do not make long-term plans
• Do not do everything yourself
• Do not make trivial decisions
• Follow your desires all the way

At its center is what Otsuka calls director thinking. The human decides only two things: what she wants to achieve, and whether what comes back is OK or not. The work and the trial and error go to AI.
